Briks polling was witnessed in the Huzurabad by-election. BJP candidate Etela Rajendar and his wife Jamuna voted this morning at around 9 am. He appealed to the people to come in large numbers and participate in the voting.
He was expecting around 90 per cent voting. This election will remain in history he said. The official machinery including the police was misused for the election by the ruling party he alleged.
There is no democracy he condemned. He was confident that the people will vote him to victory. Around 11 percent polling was recorded by 9.30 am in morning at Huzurabad.
Tight bundobust was arranged and patrol parties were on the job. The voting percentage will be more this time it is expected. Both the BJP and TRS are trying to get people to the booths and get the votes polled.
Women were seen in large numbers at the polling stations. The BJP and the TRS workers fought at the Jammikunta degree college polling station where money was being distributed by the TRS cadres.
The police dispersed the crowds.
