Chief Minister of Telangana K Chandrasekhar Rao has taken off to Delhi in a special flight. He is scheduled to meet the Prime Minister Narendra Modi at 11.30 AM on Friday.
This is the first time he will be meeting the PM after coming to power for the second time in the state with an absolute majority. CM KCR met the PM 9 months ago.
There was some gap earlier as KCR tried to launch the Federal front and also lashed out against the Governance of the PM. But the TRS has supported some bills in the parliament and that has brought both the parties closer.
BJP chief and Minister for Home Amit Shah has been talking to KCR now and then and that bridged the gap.Now the chief minister wants to keep the Prime Minister about the future developments in Telangana. He will be talking to Modi especially on the financial front. The so-called slow down in the economy is going to make a lot of difference to the centre and also the state.
The Chief Minister will also talk to the PM on the interlinking of Godavari and Krishna rivers.
Former MP Vindo Kumar and RS member Santosh Kumar will be accompanying KCR to Delhi in the special flight. KCR would discuss on Kaleswaram project and would ask for around 60000 crore for interlinkage of the rivers.
On the other hand, AP CM Jagan will be meeting the Prime Minister on 5th that is Saturday. He will be talking about various projects to be taken up in the state. Jagan will seek funds for various ongoing projects and will explain the linkage of Godavari and Krishna rivers a proposal made by the Telangana CM KCR.
Both the CMs of the Telugu states will be meeting one after the other.
