Chief Minister Sri K Chandrashekhar Rao hailed the central government for conferring the prestigious and highest film award in the country, Dada Saheb Phalke Award, to well-known southern film actor Rajanikanth.
The CM said Rajanikanth, who evolved a unique style of his own in the film career, has crores fans in the country and all over the globe and it is great and befitting that he is selected for the prestigious Dada Saheb Phalke award. The CM conveyed his congratulations to the superstar.
Unlike other CMs, KCR is a man who watches movies along with Himanshu his grandson. KCR like K Vishwanath the director very much. KCR went to the director’s house and offered to become a producer for Vishwanath.
Vishwanath said that he is already retired from the movies. KCR is also planning to set up a film city in Hyderabad and consulted Amitabh to give ideas for the project.
There is a hi-tech home theatre in Pragathi Bhavan where CM watches the movies on development in the state and some times good movies also along with some family members.
