Prime Minister Narendra Modi has announced at UN that India is banning one-time usage plastic from October 2 that is Gandhi Jayanthi. But there are several things which we are doing on a daily basis and consuming plastic directly.
A recent research has revealed that some brands of Tea bags are made of plastic. By dipping them in hot water and consuming tea is making us take plastic particles into the body indirectly.
We do not know that we are in fact consuming plastic particles in the form of Tea bags. Tea bags as such are not healthy for the body and with some brands you are taking plastic particles into the body.
The research which declined to name the brands of Tea bags stated that every person is indirectly taking plastic which is equal to the size of a credit card indirectly and unknowingly.
The Government must find ways and means to stop consuming plastic into the body which is harmful. The Government must look into these things where we are taking plastic into the body indirectly which can be toxic.
