Politics is a different kind of ball game. We can alter the rules and regulations to suit our requirements. This has been happening since a long time. Right from the inception, the TRS joined with congress, later with TDP an fought the elections. Several elected representatives of TRS resigned at the orders of CM K Chandrasekhar Rao and then came back to power.
As of now there is no doubt for the party, it has a good majority. The TDP on the other hand is in shambles in Telangana. If not nurtured properly it might become a history. Taking this into account the TDP has come out with a plan to support TRS indirectly and stay put in Telangana. First the TRS leaders had some doubts about the friendship of TDP, but when they analysed with the CM KCR, it looked beneficial for the TRS.
The whole idea is to contain the Congress. Congress which is also in shambles is trying its level best to sustain in Telangana. If TDP is not in the race, the votes of TDP will go to Congress automatically. Then it will become a disadvantage to the TRS in the long run. Taking this into account and to check the Congress in the long run and to allow the votes to split, the TRS is also thinking in terms of keeping the TDP alive in Telangana.
If TDP is not there, it will be single party contest for TRS. It will be between Congress and TRS. It will be advantage Congress in the long run till 2019. So to make the contest a triangular one, the TRS also wants TDP to be in the Telangana. If the votes split in a triangular contest it will be easy for the TRS to win.
Taking all these issues and calculations into account it is reported that the TDP and the TRS might go for a friendly contest in the near future with all understanding it is learnt. Both of them will not be harsh or each other and it will be a live and let live atmosphere here in Telangana. Both of them will target Congress and trounce it .
