Anil the Minister in the YSRC Challenged that the TDP and BJP will not get even 25 percent seats if the elections are held to the Panchayats in the state.
No one knows if the elections will be held are not. The issue is in the High Court and it might go up to the Supreme court also. The issue might get dragged and by that time Nimmgadda the SEC might complete his tenure.
The YSRC Government is avoiding elections in the name of Corona vaccination. They have apprehension that the situation is not conducive. Panchayat elections have turned into a prestige issue for CM Jagan and SEC.
SEC wants to see that the elections are conducted, while the YSRC Government wants to avoid them at any cost. The employees unions and the Police department have already said that the elections cannot be held in the state.
But SEC gave the examples of Bihar and Telangana where the elections were held under Covid conditions. But the reality is that the Panchayat elections will not make any difference to the people in general.
It is the policy of the YSRC Government at the helm of affairs that will be implemented in the state of Andhra Pradesh.
