Tammineni Sitaram the Speaker of the AP Legislative Assembly found fault with the decision of the Vice President of India Venkaiah Naidu who is also the Chairman of the Rajya Sabha.
Tammineni opined that it was unethical on the part of Venkaiah Naidu to take the 4 MPS from TDP and merge them with the BJP.
Tammineni said that if he was in Venkaiah s place, it would not have happened. On the other hand, there is a clear cut policy laid down by the CM Jaganmohan reddy that any MLA who would like to join the YSRC from the other party must resign to his party and MLA post.
In the same format, Tammineni opined that the Vice President has done a mistake by merging the TDP MPS with the BJP. It is reported that the news reached the ears of Venkaiah Naidu already.
Earlier before Tammineni commented over the matter, the Vice President has already said that it was done as per the rules and regulations that nothing was wrong in this.
When it comes to Telangana a dozen MLAs have merged with the TRS and speaker agreed for the same. Speaker Pocharam Srinivas Reddy also said that there was nothing illegal about it. The Congress MLAs have lost confidence in the party and have reposed faith in the TRS and Telangana CM K Chandrasekhar Rao.
