The Hon’ble Governor, Dr. (Smt.) Tamilisai Soundararajan, hosted the NEW YEAR 2024 OPEN HOUSE celebrations at Raj Bhavan on Monday. The gathering witnessed prominent personalities, including the Hon’ble Chief Minister, Shri A. Revanth Reddy, Shri D. Sridhar Babu, Shri Ponnam Prabhakar, Smt Konda Surekha, and Smt D Anasuya, Cabinet Ministers, as well as the Speaker of the Legislative Assembly G. Prasada Rao, other esteemed dignitaries, Senior Bureaucrats including the Chief Secretary, senior police personnel including the DGP.
Approximately 2500 Telangana citizens attended the open house, exchanging warm wishes for a joyous and prosperous New Year with the Hon’ble Governor.
Responding enthusiastically to the Hon’ble Governor’s call to bring notebooks and dictionaries, the public demonstrated an overwhelming response, with around 25,000 notebooks received at Raj Bhavan. These notebooks are destined to be distributed to students in Government schools situated in slums within the GHMC area and tribal areas.
As a tribute to this significant occasion, the Hon’ble Governor inaugurated a WhatsApp Channel named DrTamilisaiGuv from Raj Bhavan.
