Telangana Governor Tamilisai and Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao have paid rich tributes to Father of Nation Mahatma Gandhi here at the Bapu Ghat near Langer house. Today is Mahatma Gandhi’s 150 birth anniversary. Every Village in Telangana is celebrating the event.
Speaking on the occasion here at the Bapu Ghat KCR said that it was the path of non-violence advocated by Gandhi, the separate state of Telangana was achieved.

MP Santosh Kumar Joginapally also paid rich tributes to the Mahatma. The Ministers of Telangana also paid floral tributes at their respective places in remembrance of Mahatma.
