Governor of Telangana Tamilisai and Governor of Himachal Pradesh Bandaru Dattatreya today attended the Medaram jathara here in Telangana. They offered Tulabaram with Jaggery and were also given the jaggery Prasadam at the Sammakka Saralakka Gadde.
Minister Errbelly Dayakar and Indralaran Reddy welcomed the Governors here along with the family members. Tight security was arranged for the governors.
The Police did not allow the regular pilgrims till the Governors left the Gaddes. Earlier pilgrims were allowed to Gaddes. Now they are not being allowed to gaddes.
Governor Tamilisai said that she was very happy that she got the darshan of Sammakka Saralakka. She prayed to gods to see that all should be well and that the people should be happy.
The pilgrims have increased today and the VIP flow is also going up. The Governors were also felicitated by the Ministers here for coming to the Jathara.
As both Sammakka and Saralakka are on the Gaddes, the inflow of the pilgrims has gone up.
