Governor Tamilisai said that the Telangana Government has implemented all the welfare schemes in the state despite the Covid conditions and a fall in the revenues.
She said that around Rs 52000 crore revenue was lost due to Corona conditions, but the Government continued all the welfare measures for the poor she said.
She was speaking at the 72nd Republic day celebrations here at the Public Gardens. Free rice was distributed to the poor during the Corona period she explained.
Tamilisai hoisted the National Flag and took the salute. She talked about the reforms brought in by the Government in Revenue and Municipal departments for transparent administration and avoiding corruption.
Telangana is in the forefront in many sectors across the country she said. It is a role model to many states she stated. She also appreciated the way the education was imparted online during the Covid times.
Tamilisai also complimented the Haritha Haram program. KCR the CM receive the Governor Tamilisai at Public Gardens and has taken her to the podium.
Ministers, MLAs, and MLCs participated in the celebrations here at Public Gardens.
