Justice Thottathil Bhaskaran Nair Radhakrishnan has been appointed as the Chief Justice of the High Court of Judicature at Rajbhavan today. The oath of secrecy was administered by the Governor ESL Narasimhan in the presence of the Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao.
He will be the Chief Justice for Hyderabad High court which is for Telangana and Andhra Pradesh. Till now Ramesh Ranganathan was the acting chief Justice for AP and Telangana.
Earlier the Supreme Court Collegium made this recommendation along with those for the 4 other High courts. Along with the CM K Chandra Sekhara Rao the ministers from his cabinet and the speaker of the Assembly Madhusudhana chary also attended the swearing-in ceremony of the CJ here at Rajbhavan.
