Former National TT Champion Soumyajit Ghosh may be suspended and will not be able to make it to the commonwealth games.
The TTFI has taken a decision to this effect as a complaint of rape is pending against him. A woman has filed a complaint that she has been raped by the TT player.
The Complaint was filed in the West Bengal woman’s police station against the Arjuna Awardee. The cases are pertaining to criminal conspiracy, cheating and also rape.It has been stated that the TT player has behaved against the consent of the Woman.
The player is training in Germany for the upcoming Commonwealth Games. Ghosh is an important player of the team by the TT federation cannot take the chances as the charges levelled against him are very serious in nature.
