It looks like the Telugu film industry is getting divided into two groups. One led by the Suresh Productions Suresh Babu and the other led by Dil Raju the mega producer who got married recently.
It is about the rental system for the theatres. While Suresh Babu and FDC Chairman Ram Mohan want to introduce the new percentage system. Dil Raju wants the old system to continue.
Now that the theatres are running with full capacity this new issue has cropped up. The Dil Raju system gives less revenue to the distributor and producer, but as Raju producers more films he will get large revenues.
People who produce less films, will get less revenue, but with percentage factor they can earn more. There was a meeting of the exhibitors and also distributors, Dil Raju just ignored the meeting and said that he is against the percentage system.
That means he is against Suresh Babu. Some producers from Nizam also talked against Dil Raju in open and they are taking the help of BJP to take on Dil Raju.
The Mega family led by Allu Aravind the mega producer is sitting on the fence as usual. Right now a dozen films are under production and around half a dozen films are getting ready for the release.
