Will the people come back to the theatres. Do they come to see the remakes whose originals are already on the OTT is another question. Taking all these issues into account, Suresh Productions chief Suresh Babu has decided along with hero Venkatesh that Narappa and Drishyam 2 will go to the OTT release.
They are of the opinion that the openings will be safe on OTT and may be better than the theatres. The theatre’s release can happen even after the OTT release.
With this point, they are now all set to go for the OTT release of Venkatesh remake films. There is loud thinking in the industry that the theatres may not pick up immediately.
It will take some time. Maybe by the end of December, we can think about the audience coming to the theatres and if there is no third wave of Corona in the country.
Some states have closed the shops in the name of the third wave of Corona. Let’s hope that it will not touch the Telugu states. The movie artists are in trouble as the movies are not being released.
Some daily workers in the industry are unable to meet both ends. People from different sections of society have been helping the junior artists and other workers in Hyderabad with groceries and some time readymade food also.
But how long this continues has to be seen.
