The Supreme Court will today decide the fate of the Maharashtra Government formed overnight with the help of Governor of the state. The Congress NCP and Shiv Sena have filed writs against the way the Government was formed early in the morning.

They said that the majority was not taken into account seriously by the Governor and that the Governor’s office was misused in the process. The BJP, on the other hand, has made a stunning comeback with the help of Ajit Pawar and the NCP MLAs who are on his side.

But there are reports that just only 4 MLAs of the NCP are with Ajit camp and the rest have gone back to Sharad Pawar. The BJP is confident that they will be able to prove the majority on the floor of the house.

There is a chance that some Congress MLAs might also change the stance overnight and support the BJP Government.

Fadnavis the CM has been in touch with Ajit Pawar for a long time and ultimately divided the NCP. The BJP chief Amit Shah is already working on getting the required majority for Fadnavis.
