Supreme Court says people are waiting for Kaala

A bench which looked into the petition against the release of Kaala opined that the people were waiting for the release of Rajinikanth film and there was no reason to stop the movie. Earlier a director has approached the high court that the story was copied and he had the copyright for the same. But the high court refused to stop the movie. Now the same man went to supreme court asking for his copyright.

But the supreme court refused to do so. But the issue is now with the Karnataka government as the CM Kumara Swamy Gowda opined that it was not the right time for the release of the film Kaala. But Rajinikanth appealed to Karnataka Government and CM Gowda for protection at the theatres. The Karnataka film chamber of commerce is also going against the release of the film.

Gowda the CM opined that the film could have been resolved after resolving the issue of Cauvery waters. But Kaala is getting for a worldwide release on 7nth. On the other hand earlier Pralaksh Raj the popular film star questioned the people as to why a film should be stalled and penalised for the remarks of an individual on a different subject matter. He quoted other films where the people stalled the movies and the entire unit suffered due to losses.

The film was produced by Rajinis relative Dhanush and directed by PaRanjith of Kabaali fame.
