Sundarakanda Akhanda Parayanam

Sri Sundarakanda Akhanda Parayanam will be observed at Dharmagiri Veda Vijnana Peetham in Tirumala on June 2.

This spiritual event will commence at 6am and will last for about 18 hours uninterruptedly with the participation of Vedic scholars and devotees.

SVBC will live telecast this program where in 2872 Shlokas from Sundarakanda will be recited in connection with Hanuman Jayanti festivities. The three-day annual Vasanthotsavams in Sri Kalyana Venkateswara Swamy temple in Srinivasa Mangapuram will be observed from May 27 to 29.

Snapana Tirumanjanam will be performed to the Utsava deities every day from 2pm to 4pm while on the second day that is on May 28, the procession of Swarnaratham will be observed between 6pm and 7pm.

The Grihastha devotees can pay Rs.516/- per ticket on which two persons will be allowed.

TTD has cancelled Arjita Sevas owing to this festival on these three days. Special devotional cultural programmes by HDPP and Annamacharya projects of TTD have also been organised.
