The future of TTD depends on the new incoming Chairman. If the Chairman and EO take it seriously the rats can be smoked out and the old bandicoots can be caught.

Both Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu and Deputy CM Pawan Kalyan previously raised concerns about irregularities in the SRIVANI trust funds. Over the past five years, large-scale malpractices occurred in Tirumala, particularly concerning the SRIVANI trust and darshan tickets.”

But all said and done money speaks on TTD. People will arrange everything for money on the Lord’s abode. It is very difficult to stop the money power.

The Jana Sena leader Kiran called for a probe into the distribution of Arjitha seva tickets and VIP break darshan tickets given to ministers and MLAs in recent years.

He alleged that thousands of tickets were misused for commercial purposes between June 2019 and May 2024. The representation sought a probe into the special protocol darshan arrangements made for former ministers.

“We need to protect the integrity of the TTD,” Kiran Rayal claimed and pleaded that the investigation findings be made public. There should be accountability for all the transactions on the TTD.

Aadhar liking and other safety measures should be taken, so that the darshan cannot be duplicated or transferred to other persons. The VIP letters must have grading.

Here the central Minister, the state Minister and the MLas letters are treated on par. The central minister should have some weight for his recommendation.

It is good that the MBC payments are taken online. But sometimes the reply is not coming. The pilgrims have to rush to MBC in the eleventh hour.
