Striving for the glory of ancient Temples

TTD Chairman Sri YV Subba Reddy said that under directives of the Honourable Chief Minister of AP Sri YS Jaganmohan Reddy, TTD is striving to rejuvenate the ancient and dilapidated temples.

Laying the foundation stone for the construction of a TTD Kalyana Mandapam at Udumulapadu and Gundala village near Dhone in Nandyal district along with state minister, Sri B Rajendranath, the TTD Chairman said as on date funds have been released for the revival of nearly 800 temples as part of Hindu Dharma propagation.

He said TTD had sanctioned money for building temples with SRIVANI Trust funds in SC/ST /BC and fishermen communities besides TTD Kalyana Mandapams in Pulivendula, Dhone and S Gundala constituencies.

The State-of-Art museum which is underway in Tirumala would be definitely the world number one which will be completed by this year end, said TTD EO Sri AV Dharma Reddy.

Speaking to media persons after the Dial your EO programme in Tirumala, the EO said, the SV Museum with a new look at Rs.120cr is all set to emerge by December end. “The devotees will have a unique experience and even the 3D imaging jewels will also be displayed”, he added.

The EO also said Reliance has come forward to establish a fully automatic machine for making qualitative and quantitative laddus at Rs. 50 crores. “With this we could be able to provide more hygienic and tastier laddus to devotees”.

Anjanadri temple at Akasa Ganga is also coming up at Rs.50-60cr on donation and the new Parakamani building will become operational from February 5 onwards, the EO added.
