Cyberabad CP Shri. VC Sajjanar, IPS., requested that all departments should co-operate and co ordinate in preventing human trafficking. He further said that to prevent human trafficking a special unit has been set up in Cyberabad on 05.09.2020.
So far registered 11 cases and arrested 54 culprits and rescued 23 women and children who are victims of such cases. In Cyberabad special anti-human trafficking unit will co-ordinate with concerned departments to provide immediate assistance to the victims.
He also said that a dedicated officer would monitor the pending trial cases of human trafficking . The Anti-Human Trafficking Unit will coordinate with all the officials of various departments in preventing Human Trafficking.
AHTU Officer-in-Charge Shri K. Narahari ACP along with AHTU team and officials from various departments were present at the meeting.
