Telangana gears up for a single-phase Assembly Election on November 30 to fill the 119 seats of its Legislative Assembly. Chief Minister K. Chandrasekhar Rao’s ruling Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS) faces stiff competition from the Congress in this contest.
Vote counting is scheduled for December 3. With the BJP almost out of the race, the BRS which is the ruling party is facing a stiff contest from the Congress which came into the race with Revanth Reddy as the PCC Chief.
But the fact is that around twenty new faces have got the seats from Revanth and they are facing opposition from the old guards in the respective constituencies.
This makes all the difference to the new candidates in the Congress. What if the old guards ditch the new faces is the question. When it comes to the candidates from BRS, there is no trouble as such.
They were announced well in advance and they have completed all kinds of formalities in the constituencies and are topped by the publicity from KCR,KTR and Harish apart from Kavitha.
The MIM is supporting them across the state. BRS is the ruling party and is financially sound with all the logistical support and infrastructure for the party.
The fight is between Congress and the BRS with an edge for the BRS. The BRS will scrape through and form the government giving a hattrick to KCR the CM.
