The Commissioner of Police, Cyberabad Stephen Raveendra,IPS., today held a virtual review meeting with the officers of the 15 PSs which are having the highest pendency of under investigation cases in the Commissionerate.
On a detailed analysis of the crimes in Cyberabad, a maximum number of cases are still under investigation in certain PSs. The CP reviewed the cases and the status of the investigation and asked the officers to prepare a specific plan of action to liquidate the pendency in a time-bound manner by pooling the available resources at all levels to meet the State level standards.
The performance of each PS would be measured on a regular basis to improve the investigation standards in the Commissionerate.
The expeditious investigation of cases is crucial in the criminal justice system. DCsP Crimes, Traffic, Zones, and ACsP and SHOs were present in the meeting.
