Chief Minister of Telangana K Chandrasekhar Rao hoisted the National flag here at the Golkonda Fort on eve of the 73rd Independence day. He was accompanied by DGP , Chief Secretary Joshi and other police officials here.

Later he took the salute from the police forces. 300 Children wearing tricolour dressed greeted KCR here. The historic Golkonda witnessed the valour of the Independence day.

We have laid a strong foundation for the achievement of Bangaru Telangana said KCR. He was speaking at the Golkonda fort today. There are 13 Municipal corporations here in Telangana he said. 95 per cent of the jobs are being given to the local people with the new Zonal system he said. New Revenue system is being worked out he said.

The new Municipal act will bring in Transparency he stated. Sanitation must improve and cleanliness is next to Godliness and that has to be achieved in 60 days KCR suggested.

The Villages must get cleaned he said. The electricity department must improve the conditions herein villages he suggested. The greenery must be developed to a larger extent he said. We cannot purchase climate with money he said.

Make plans for further development in the state KCR suggested. He talked about Mission Bageeratha, Pensions, housing and other welfare schemes being implemented in the state of Telangana. Rythu Bandhu and Rythu Beem schemes were appreciated by UN he said.

The farmers are getting financial assistance and also insurance facility he stated. Mission Kakatiya has improved the water table he said. Kaleshwaram project has brought in international fame for the state he explained. Live and let live is our policy he said.
