Even after difficult times due to Covid in the film industry no big stars have announced on the reduction of the remuneration. Even before the Covid onslaught there was a talk on the reduction of remuneration by super stars.
In fact the producers were suggesting the some since a long time . But now the heroes have become co- producers for some movies and in this case there cannot be any reduction of remuneration.
They are becoming co-produces to mint more money. Junior NTR, Mahesh Babu and Chiranjeevi along Ram Charan are co producing movies and minting more money in the process.
Mahesh in the name GMB productions has made double the money after co-producing some movies in the recent times. In future there could be heroes who would become full time producers and also heroes of their movies.
Taking all this into account, there may not be any reduction in the remuneration. The theatres in Andhra have already opened and now the Theatres are getting ready to screen movies by the month end.
The theatres would function with just 50 percent capacity and few shows in the beginning. The production costs have gone up like anything but the remuneration of heroes is not coming down.
The film workers were in trouble due to unemployment since last 6 months. With the talk of second Corona wave sweeping Delhi, the heroes are in doubt if they should go for the shooting.
There is no question of shooting in the foreign locales due to the second wave of Corona. Now they are dependent on the sets for shooting. Lets hope the Heroes will reconsider their decision and help the producers by reducing the remuneration.
