Trademark Hyderabadi dishes biryani, baghara baingan, and seviyan have all made their way into India postage, with the Department of Post issuing stamps with photos of the same.
The stamps come as a tribute to the rich, varied cuisine of Hyderabad two months ahead of the 500th anniversary of the construction of the Golconda Fort.
The stamps are part of a series comprising 24 Indian dishes.
