There would be five women ministers in the cabinet this time it is learnt. The idea is to impress upon the women for the coming elections.
R K Roja is all set to make it to the cabinet in the ensuing cabinet revamp. Along with Roja, the names of Vidadala Rajini from Chilakaluripet, Reddy Shanti from Srikakulam, Jonnalagadda Padmavathi from Anantapur, Varudu Kalyani from Visakhapatnam and Pothula Sunitha from Prakasam are also being heard in the cabinet revamp.
The idea of giving more representation to women is to impress upon the women in the state for the coming elections. There could be an early poll by the end of this year to reduce anti-incumbency.
