TTD Chairman Sri Bhumana Karunakara Reddy said that Srivaru always takes care of His true devotees.
Earlier he received hundreds of devotees who came on foot from Gopasandram of Krishnagiri district of Tamilnadu at Srinivasa Mangapuram on their way to Srivari Mettu.
Speaking on the occasion the TTD Chairman said the Padayatra is one such path chosen by devotees to showcase their true devotion towards Sri Venkateswara.
He said many ardent devotees like Sri Purandaradasa, Sri Tallapaka Annamacharya, Sri Vyasaraya, emperor Sri Krishanadevaraya had trekked Tirumala and got salvation.
JEO Sri Veerabrahmam, Temple Special Grade Dyeo Smt Varalakshmi, AEO Sri Gopinath, Superintendent Sri Changalalrayulu, , Dakshina Tirupati Temple Chairman Sri Narayana Swami and hundreds of devotees from Tamilnadu were present.
TTD Trust Board Chairman Sri Bhumana Karunakara Reddy said Operation Chiruta will be a continuous affair for the safety of devotees coming for Srivari Darshan round the year.
Earlier on Thursday the Chairman along with TTD EO Sri AV Dharma Reddy visited the spot where forest officials had captured and interacted with forest officials.
Later speaking to reporters he said action plan will be conceived to ensure safety to all devotees walking through the forest area and implement it through out the year.
He said as per forest officials a male wild cat was caught in the bone trap at around 1.30 am. About 300 CC cameras were already installed in the forest footpath and another 200 will soon be rolled out.
