The police report submitted to the court says that Srinivas Rao the hotel worker wanted to kill Jagan the YSRC chief in the airport. The attacker wanted to slash the throat of Jagan and he missed it injuring him on the shoulder. There were various dimensions given to the story. Some said Srinivas was a Jagan fan. Some other said that he was TDP member. Some people said that the BJP arranged the man and wanted the blame to be put on the TDP. There are people who said that Jagan arranged this for himself for the sake of sympathy.
But the police in the remand report said that Srinivas wanted to kill Jagan at the airport. TRS,BJP and other leaders condemned the incident. The YSRC demanded a CBI probe. Union Minister Suresh Prabhu wanted a probe by all the agencies so that the truth comes out.
Chandrababu said that it was BJP, behind all this Hungama to blame the TDP in the process. He charged that the BJP was trying to pull down the TDP in Andhra Pradesh.
