Srikanth Addala the popular director who has done Asuran remake with Venkatesh as Narappa says that they will miss the silver screen. Naarappa with Venkatesh is getting released on the OTT platform.
Even though the theatres are getting opened from 23rd, they have opted for the OTT. Suresh productions Chief who has a large number of theatres is of the opinion that the audience may not come back to the theatres in the initial stages.
That is the reason they opted for the OTT. Srikanth has done Seethamma Vaakitlo with Venkatesh and is familiar with the star. Originally Asuran was a hit done by Dhanush.
The story itself is a good one and there is little scope for changes. Srikanth has directed just 5 films. He is popular from Kotha Bangaru Lokam. Venkatesh is also going for Drishyam 2 on OTT.
The OTT is working out financially for both the moves so they are not waiting for the theatres. Making movies is not easy says Addala. Luck also plays the role he explains.
Priyamani has done well Addala explained. The movie has Anantapur slang Addala revealed. The industry sources say that they have already got the returns.
Srikanth is hopeful that it will do well on the OTT also. Later they may release on the silver screen also.
