CM Chandrasekhar Rao pointed out that the village Panchayats are due to the extent of Rs 3000 crore in the form of power bills. The panchayats have to pay them at the earliest he said. New Sarpanches have come and there should be no burden on them. The due also includes the interest he said. There should be one-time settlement of power bills and the talks are going on he said.
From next the bills have to be paid every month. It is due to the Congress that the dues have accumulated he pointed out. He also said that Solar power was being generated in a big way and there was no proper generation in the regime of the Congress.
The power situation has improved in the TRS regime and that Sridhar Babu the Congress member was deviating from the reality. The panchayats will be taken care of and the Government will make them to run properly for the development of villages he said. The power bills will be made to be paid as one-time settlement without burdening the panchayats the CM told the members in the house.
KCR said that the power generation is being improved from time to time and that new power plants were coming up in Telangana. He pointed out that the credit for power stabilisation goes to the TRS.
