If everything goes well a Sridevi remake is being planned by the Bollywood producer. It is a super hit movie made by a producer from the south and the direction was done by a Bollywood director. It was four decades ago the film was made with Sridevi in the lead and it was a super duper hit. Now the same magic will be repeated with Deepika Padukone.
Deepika these days is planning her marriage is busy. After Padmavat she is yet to take an assignment. But she will agree for the role of Sridevi.
It could be after her marriage that she will take up this role. It may be noted that Sridevi drowned in a bathtub in Dubai and it was declared as an accidental death. It shook the world and the fans could not digest the news. Now people want to record Sridevi’s larger than life image and that would in the form of a remake of her hit.
Her daughters are also coming into the movie world. Father Boney Kapoor who is also a producer making all-out efforts to make them like Sridevi. One of the daughters has completed a movie and it is ready for release.
If it becomes a hit, then it is like reviving the legend, Sridevi.
