TTD is conducting a five-day fete of Sri Venkateshwara vaibhavotsavam at Hyderabad from October 11- 15 at NTR stadium to showcase the Nitya Kainkaryas Including vahana sevas,utsava, etc of Srivari temple to devotees of other regions.
The program includes Vasantothsavam on October 11, Sahasra Kalashabhisekam on October 12, Tiruppavadai on October 13, Abhishekam, Nija pada Darshan on October 14 and Srinivasa kalyanam on October 15.
Similar Vaibhavotsavam events will be held at Ongole in December and in Delhi in February. TTD is organising Karthika deepotsavam fete at Visakhapatnam, and Yaganti in the Kurnool district during Karthika Masam.
TTD plans to conduct the Maha Samprokshana fete at Sri Padmavati temple, Chennai and Srivari temple, Jammu Uttarayana
Gujarat government has granted five acres of land for the Srivari temple construction at Ahmedabad for which Bhumi puja will be performed soon. Around sixty thousand pilgrims on average are coming to the TTD on a daily basis.
With the introduction of the token system now the pilgrim’s number will definitely come down. This in fact can be managed. We do not know why the accommodation is being shifted to Tirupathi.
