It is again double-header, rather double maza`’ time in Vivo IPL 10 today. In the first match at the MCA stadium Pune, Sunrisers Hyderabad who are desperate to win outside their home will be hoping for a one today, when they meet Rising Pune Supergaints. SRH have been unstoppable at home but have really struggled when they have played outside. But they must be happy with their overall performance so far. Whatever they have experimented it has nicely worked out for them. In the last match they played Kane Williamson and he proved to be their match winner with a brilliant innings and Shikar too getting back to his real form.
Warner their captain has been the man in form for them. The main strength this year has been their bowling. In particular Buvaneshwar Kumar has bowled excellently in every match, while Rashid Khan and Kaul have supported well. The debutant Siraj also impressed in his very first match, picking up a couple of wickets. If Ashish Nehra is fit he might have to pave way for him.
On the other hand RPS have been very unimpressive, with only two wins in their kitty. They have problems in the top order with only their skipper being in good form. Rahane has been disappointing in this season and skipper Smith might promote the inform Manoj Tiwary up the order today. RPS might go with Daniel Christian today, who can be very effective in the death overs with his variety. And let us hope Dhoni will come back to his form today.
In the other match the inform Mumbai Indians will be facing Delhi Daredevils at their home. After chasing a big 190 plus against the Kings XI the other day Mumbai’s confidence must have increased. The good news this year for them is Jos Butler has showed terrific form, while youngsters Rana and Krunal have been outstanding.
Delhi have good net run rate but they should be consistent in winning.
In yesterday’s match, Suresh Raina played magnificent captain’s innings to steer his side home against Kolkatta Kightriders at Eden Gardens.
