The State government under Revanth Reddy has appointed K Sreenivas Reddy as the chairman of Telangana Media Academy for two years. An order has been issued on Sunday.
He is the editor of the Telugu daily Prajapaksham. He is affiliated with the Communist party and also with the Journalist’s unions for several decades.
As the union leader of Journalists, he had good contacts with all the political parties. Sreenivas Reddy was not that close to the BRS and the earlier Government.
He is close to the Present CM Revanth Reddy also. He has good contacts with the Journalists and lets hope he would be able to resolve the issues of the Journalists in general.
Right now a large number of scribes are waiting for the house sites. KCR has been promising for the house sites for the last one decade.
Now Revanth is planning to resolve the issue in his tenure.
