Green India challenge is growing popular by the day. Apart from Telangana and Andhra the concept of planting saplings is growing across the country and also in other countries.
Bhoopalpally Police SP has planted saplings as part of the Green India Challenge. He complimented Santosh Kumar the RS member of taking up the GIC and encouraging others in the name of challenge.
Santosh Kumar has taken up this program with the inspiration from K Chandrasekhar Rao the Telangana CM. The Telangana Government is implementing the program called as Hritha Haraam.
This GIC is an extension to Haritha Haram. Film personalities, politicians an also Police persons are taking up the challenge in a big way apart from the sports persons.
Sp Singh stated that it was an honour to plant saplings in his area and challenge three other for the same. In this fashion several other police officers also planted saplings taking the cue from Santosh Kumar the MP from the TRS party.
Santosh could see that the plantation took place in the parliament surroundings also as part of the GIC. Crores of saplings have been planted so far as part of the GIC and it a new record of sorts.
So far there is no example where a lawmaker has taken up this kind of program for protecting the environment, reducing the pollution and also Global Warming in a big way.
