Vanaparthy SP ApurvaRao while apologising to the public in general for the misbehaviour of the police said that she would take action against the erring police in her area.
It may be recalled that a father was beaten up black and blu in front of his son while they were walking away from the police picket under the lockdown imposed by the Government.
The video went viral on the web and non-other than the Minister for IT expressed his displeasure over the way police have reacted with the public. The father was brutally dragged and beaten up by the police in front of the son.
The son of seen shouting at the police. KTR after seeing the video has advised the Minister for Mahmood Ali and also the DGP Mahendra Reddy to look into the matter and initiate necessary action.
That is not the way police behave with the public Minister opined. The SP Vanaparthy tweeted apologising to the public and assured that she would take action against the erring police after due investigation.
