Divorce is over for Soundarya the daughter of Rajinikanth. After the super flop of Kochadiyaan, she wants to prove that she is a film maker in fact and wants to take the career very serious now. After all she is the daughter of a legend.
Amidst all the hoopla surrounding her divorce with husband Ashwin, Soundarya seems to have brushed aside the drama, and decided to concentrate on her professional life steadfastedly.It is reported that Dhanush is also helping her. He is also into direction these days and is conning the role of a cameo for his own movie.
After Kochadaiyaan, she is all set to helm her second venture titled NEEK produced by Kabali producer Kalaipuli S Thanu. The speculations over the abbreviation for NEEK range from Nilavuku Enmel Ennadi Kobam to Neeye Endrum Endhan Kudai!
When contacted, Thanu confirmed the news, but refrained from divulging any more details. Earlier, Soundarya had revealed that she had been working on a romantic-comedy script with her brother-in-law Dhanush — but a spokesperson from her office stated that the Maari star would not be acting in this project.
They further added that the casting is aimed at finding new talent to feature in this venture, and that the auditions were going on in Dhanush’s office. Can this movie recreate the Kabali hype? Only time will tell.
