Somesh Kumar is the new CS

The State government has decided to appoint senior IAS officer Sri Somesh Kumar as the new Chief Secretary of the government. Honourable Chief Minister Sri K Chandrashekhar Rao has signed on the relevant orders here on Tuesday. Sri Somesh Kumar will be Chief Secretary from January 1, 2020 to December 31, 2023. The state government has taken this decision as Sri Somesh Kumar will have long term to serve and it will offer stability.

Honourable Chief Minister Sri K Chandrashekhar Rao decided to appoint Chief Secretary Sri SK Joshi, who is retiring today as Advisor to Government on Irrigation matters. Sri SK Joshi will serve as Irrigation Advisor to the Government.
