A rogue soldier has shot dead 26 people in a mass killing. The reason behind the killing is not known. This mass killing took place in a mall in Thailand.
Security forces were rushed to the spot and the soldier was gunned down. The Gunman was identified as Junior army officer. The soldier was identified as JakrapanthThomma and aged 32.
Thomma also attacked the security forces and tried to escape. One soldier was also killed while two of them were injured. While 26 were killed Thomma took eight of them as hostages to escape from the mall.
Prime Minister of Thailand Prayuth visited the injured in the hospital. The people thanked the police and army for bringing the situation into control and saving the hostages from the rogue soldier.
57 people were injured in the shoot out it is reported. All the injured were shifted to the nearby local hospitals. Prayuth the PM said that this should be the last incident.
The shopper in and around the mall was terrified with the gunshots.
