The World is going to witness the Solar eclipse today from 10 am to 2 pm. People are looking at this celestial wonder with scientific and religious angles. While most of the temples are closed for the Solar eclipse, Shiva Temple in Andhra Pradesh is kept open.
People are taking a bath before the Grahanam and after the Grahanam in a traditional manner. People have been advised not to look at the eclipse with the naked eye. They must have enough protection to the eyes to look at the celestial wonder.
Religious people say that this is the right time to learn mantras. The eclipse is seen partially in South India , while it can be seen in full some other parts of eh country.
In Telangana we can see 51 per cent of the eclipse and in Andhra, it can be seen about 46 per cent. When it comes to Temples some of them are to be opened this evening, while some other temples will be opened on Monday.
People who believe in God talk about Amavasya, Sunday and the Solar eclipse, while some others ignore it in the name of science. In Hyderabad the sky is cloudy and there are some doubts if we can see the celestial wonder called Solar eclipse.
The Sun is covered by the moon and we can see the ring of fire around the moon. The people are advised not to have any food during the eclipse time and the pregnant women are advised to stay indoors.
In Tamilnadu, Amavasya is treated as a very auspicious day. They will be starting some new projects and important works today.
