Snapana Tirumanjanam was held in Vaibhavotsava Mandapam in Tirumala on Sunday in connection with Karthika Vanabhojanam.
The community dining Karthika Vanabhojanam was supposed to take place at Paruveta Mandapam along with Snapana Tirumanjanam to Utsava Murthy. But due to incessant rains, TTD canceled Karthika Vanabhojanam.
However, Snapana Tirumanjanam was observed in Vaibhavotsava Mandapam in a grand manner.
Both the seers of Tirumala, TTD officials participated in the sacred event. There was heavy rain in Tirumala apart from the heavy rush. It is taking around forty hours for the sarva darshan here in TTD.
The rush is expected to continue for another two days it is reported. Some other sevas was canceled as it rained heavily on the hill shrine.
Very long lines of people were witnessed on TTD and the authorities here are having a tough time providing them food and other amenities.
