Like Maggi ,Chips are also snacks which people especially kids cant resist. But what if they are costly. There is a pack of 4 to 5 chips which costs around Rs 4000.
Be it sipping on wine after a hard day at work or drinking beer with friends on a weekend, the snacks that accompany the drink are equally important since they are crucial to complete the experience.
While people usually get nachos or peanuts to accompany beers, how much would one be willing to shell out to get a snack that gives a truly coveted feel to a drinking session?
How about some of the world’s most exotic potato chips to go with some good quality beer?
This is something on offer by Swedish brewery St Erik’s known for their opulent India pale ale beer.
In order to complement their “world class” beer, St Erik’s have introduced potato chips that cost $56 or Rs 3700 for a pack of four chips.
The expensive chips that cost almost Rs 1000 a piece are made with exotic ingredients starting with rare almond potatoes cultivated in limited numbers at the hillside in Ammarnäs.
The lavish chips also include the most sought after mushrooms named Matsutake from Sweden, truffle seaweed, the Leksand onions along with India pale ale wort to add a bit of sweetness.
