SIP Academy India Private Limited, headquartered in Chennai is an organization which runs skill development programmes for children between the ages of 5 -13 years. Started in August 2003, SIP today has a presence in 23 states, 300+ cities and over 800 learning centres and has successfully trained over 7,50,000 children. SIP Academy has built entrepreneurs through its network of franchisees, largely women to make them financially independent. With over 3000 teachers also women, the cause of women empowerment is consciously espoused and nurtured. All the programmes run by SIP Academy India have been developed after years of research and testing and are of international standards. These programmes focus on developing various skills in children, thereby developing the learning ability of the child.

Across 15 cities, SIP franchisees, teachers, employees & partners will join the Government and plant tree saplings to enrich the environment for our children’s healthy future. The tree saplings will be sourced from the local Municipality and planted in the areas identified by the Government. This is planned on 4th August 2018. On 5th August, almost 2800 SIP Children will do a rally on prominent locations of major cities to create awareness on our important Indian trees Aam, Amla & Mango. In Hyderabad, children will be walking at Necklace Road from Sanjevaiah Park to Jalvihar at 7 am and will urge the children of India to plant trees through the year.

NEEM – protects our environment in flood control, reduced soil erosion and less salination.AMLA – a tropical tree with great medicinal propertiesMANGO – trees help to filter water, combat salinity, clean the air and increase flows into water catchments. They also provide food and shelter not only to humans but also to wildlife.On completion of the rally, 3 SIP children will talk about the benefits of NEEM, AMLA & MANGO trees and will request all the children to plant these tree saplings in their homes.
