World No 3 Kidambi Srikanth and Olympic silver medalist PV Sindhu will lead the Indian women’s and men’s team respectively at the Asian Team Championships to be held in Malaysia from February 6 to 11.

Indian men’s team had lost in the semifinals against eventual champions Indonesia, while the women’s side were blanked by South Korea in the quarterfinals in the 2016 edition at Hyderabad.

The Badminton Association of India (BAI) has decided to field a formidable line up for this year’s edition at Alor Setar, which will serve as a qualification tournament for the Thomas and Uber Cups Finals.
