TV actor of Chakravakam Sagar makes his appearance as a full-fledged hero in Siddhartha. Its an average movie and Sagar has all the potential to be a hero in the movies.
Surya(Sagar) belongs to a family who has problems with yet another factionist family. In order to end the deadly feud between the two families, Surya’s mom(Sana) sends him to Bangkok to lead a new life.
Surya changes his name as Siddhartha and falls in love with Sahasra( Ragini). When things seem to be going absolutely fine, his mother suddenly asks him to come back and marry the daughter(Sakshi Chowdary) of his enemy’s family.
Sagar makes a decent attempt as a full-fledged hero. He has the looks, acting talent and screen presence and can go a long way if he chooses his films well.
Heroine Ragini gets a meaty role and impresses to an extent. Happy Days fame, Ranadhir gets a good role and does his best as the supporting cast. Ajay is good as the bad guy. The first half of the film is good and the interval bang is very good. Satyam Rajesh manages to bring some laughs during the second half.
One should pat the producer Dasari Kiran Kumar for his superb production values. All the money he has spent shows on screen.Director Dayanand, has done an okay job with the film.
Siddhartha is Ok and a average movie.
