Shruti Haasan the daughter of Kamal Haasan with cat eyes is not growing these days. It is reported that she is not having any projects on hand. She is struggling to get assignments and also to get a hit.
She got some hits in Telugu and Tamil but she is unable to sustain on those average hits. Shruti on the other hand has always craved for recognition in Bollywood. Despite several offers opposite star heroes, she preferred to make her silver screen debut with a small Hindi film.
Tollywood provided her first big break in the form of ‘Gabbar Singh’, she still preferred Bollywood films in spite of being offered only small films or less important roles there. In this process, she didn’t think twice to turn down several promising films in South, especially Telugu.
Shruti is in news for good and bad things. she is also in news lately for alleged surgeries, weight issues, foreign boyfriend, quitting Sangamithra etc. At this moment, Shruti has not a single film in her kitty except the shelved film of her father Kamal Haasan, ‘Sebash Naidu’.
Shruti is facing this embarrassing situation when actresses of relatively less caliber are still bagging films. Shruti needs to introspect what has gone wrong and how she can bring her career back on track.
While her seniors such as Nayanthara, Anushka, Kajal, Trisha etc. are still pocketing decent projects, Shruti Haasan now stands filmless. If we look at the decisions she has made over the past few years, she has no one but herself to blame for putting a sudden full stop to her career.
All of the reigning Southern hotties of past decade such as Nayanthara, Anushka, Tamanna, Kajal, Samantha, Trisha etc. concentrated primarily on the industry that pave red carpet for them and shifted focus to neighboring industries only after losing charm in one industry.
