Balakrishna and Chiranjeevi have taken the movies by storm and the leading ladies were just ornamental. Shruthi Hassan was kept just for glamour’s sake and had very less substance.These days all the leading ladies are just ornamental and have no scope for performance. They do not have meaty roles.
In ‘Veera Simha Reddy’, she paired up with young Balayya’s character. She indulged in a heavy glamour show but her character lacked any substance. They created this role just to fit in a heroine beside young Balayya’s role.
A lot of boring scenes in the movie are connected to Shruti Hassan. After an initial thirty minutes, her character was sidelined completely and she was presented in the second half just to dance for a song.
When it comes to ‘Waltair Veerayya’, she played an undercover RAW agent role and she was presented in a very silly fashion. People laugh at Bobby’s depiction of serious RAW agents in this film.
