SHE Teams Cyberabad is catering to the needs of an increasing number of women who are coming forward to register complaints. Total 11 SHE Teams are working in Cyberabad to cater to the needs of more women and children.
Apart from this, SHE Teams keep a sharp eye on the miscreants causing a nuisance in public places. The activities of SHE team for two months March and April -2022.
Total 355 complaints were received from women victims through different means like Whatsapp, email, Hawkeye, direct walk-in etc. All complaints have been acted upon and disposed of on merit.
81 cases have been registered out of which 18 are criminal cases and 63 are petty cases.
1003 decoy operations were conducted at various places such as bus stops, shopping malls, railway stations, tutorials, colleges, etc. and 248 members were caught red-handed while doing indecent act at public place and 117 petty cases were booked and remaining referred for counselling.
Regularly conducting night decoy operations at foot court, ladies hostel areas, software companies, metro stations, 100 feet road Madhapur, Kukatpally area bus stops and other hot spots and total 75 members were caught red-handed in night time doing indecent activities and booked petty cases against them
834 awareness programs were conducted and 47,221 people were addressed
In 119 petitions warning was given on phone to change their attitude
Counselling sessions were held at Women and Children Safety Wing, Cyberabad which were attended by 319 respondents. All the respondent eve-teasers have attended the counselling session conducted by Cyberabad SHE teams, at the Commissioner’s office, Gachibowli, along with their family members.
