With the Congress party rejecting her proposals Sharmila the Chief of YSRTC and the daughter of YS Rajasekhar Reddy and sister of Jaganmohan Reddy is all set to contest in all the 119 seats in Telangana.
She will not have any say in the majority of the constituencies, but she will definitely cut into the vote Bank of the Congress. The Congress has traditional vote banks in Dalits and Mala Madiga communities.
These votes will go to the Sharamila party. Sharmila’s husband who is a Christian preacher can also cut the Christian votes. This will in fact help the BRS to win in many seats.
The YSRTP will take the edge away from Congress, making it easy for the BRS in many constituencies. But the Congress says Sharmila is nowhere in the race as she is giving a surprise to the people by not joining the Congress and contesting in all the seats.
Vijayamma, Brother Anil would also contest with Sharmila it is reported. It will help the BJP also to some extent as it would divide the Congress vote and give an edge to the BJP in some places.
Finally, the presence of YSTP will take the edge away from the Congress and it would help the BRS and BJP in many areas. But Sharmila is mainly campaigning against the policies and attitude of the CM KCR.
BRS,BJP,Congress, YSRTP,MIM, AAP, BSP, Kodandaram, Praveen kumar,Shiv Sena, Jana Sena , TDP will be contesting in the coming elections. The results will be out on December 3 and a new government will be in place for the new year.
The edge is for the BRS as the candidates have already completed the first round in all the aspects in all the 115 constituencies.
